Y hasta en el bosque de las tinieblas se siente menos frío cuando voy bien acompañado. #woods
that healthy hydrated glow
In Japanese there’s this word, shinrin-yoku, which means forest bathing. The Japanese have captured something in this phrase. There’s a general peaceful feeling when you’re in nature. I captured this moment from my evening walk where the last rays of the sunset were peeking through the leaves. I love the golden glimmer of the leaves. Sometimes the woods of our lives aren’t so peaceful, though. When you’re deep in the woods and can’t find your way out you feel hopeless and helpless. I hope this picture can encourage anyone deep in the woods of anxiety, depression, or any other feelings weighing heavy on hearts. Look for the light. It’s always there peeking beneath the leaves. The woods might be thick and dark, but I guarantee that there is a way out and a way back to the light. Sometimes it’s as simple as asking for help.
