I’d love to see an actual quidditch match in real life, but sadly that only exists in the wizarding world, such a shame. I’m so in love with the quidditch jumper✨🍂
“Well, the friends that she had at Brown and Oxford are really telling (it is a coincidence that my closest friend at Brown went to Oxford to grad school when Emma “studied” abroad at Oxford). She hung out exclusively with a group of Buxton students (the exclusive international dorm on campus) of which my friends were a part. They are all extremely rich, are super elitist, do a lot of hard drugs, and apparently Emma fit right in. According to my close friend, she really does a good job at maintaining her angelic public image, but the circles she ran in were the exact opposite of what people read in magazines. Also, that whole “learned to appreciate my education” spiel is total bullshit, she was more out of touch with the average person than my friend who would fly to London for the weekend first class just to go to a restaurant. She was loaded growing up, and she is more loaded now, she just doesn’t spend her money on shopping, if you know what I mean. Full disclosure, I never asked my Buxton friends if they themselves did drugs, and I never saw and first-hand evidence (pictures, videos) but that is because according to them, she would flip out if a person even pulled out their phone to call their mom. So this is just based on the stuff my friends told me”
From quora: I’ve worked with Emma Watson and it was a very unpleasant experience. I was the actors’ PA and had to talk to her many times a day. Starting from the moment I met her she wouldn’t speak to me or make eye contact with me while I spoke to her. The public image she projects and the efforts she makes towards supporting feminism, but no she doesn’t practice what she preaches. From sheekyforums: Emma Watson is… nice? She gives off the vibe that she’s chill socially, but is a total bitch in private
Dailymail Sept 2008: Harry Potter star Emma Watson has splashed out £1 million on a ski chalet in the fashionable French resort of Meribel. A friend said: “The house is Emma’s way of celebrating her recent straight As at A-level and finally getting her hands on some of her hard-earned cash. She worked really hard this year and didn’t have much of a birthday party so this was her present to herself. "Like her co-stars, Emma has received some pretty sound advice about money. She always wanted a ski chalet and she’s having a great time doing it up. She’s looking forward to having friends to stay.” Watson is spending thousands on refurbishment and plans to throw a lavish house party when the work is complete. And the chalet got another mention two years later. Australian Women’s Weekly Nov. 2010: While she doesn’t like the attention, she is honest enough to acknowledge the advantages.Already, there is a townhouse in London and the ski lodge in Meribel, France. Emma can pick and choose future acting roles. She’ll never have to worry about a mortgage or a bank loan.
From usatoday: “You sort of accept certain things about your personality,” Watson said of growing older. “I don’t need to beat myself up about not wanting to go out (at night). I thought there was something quite peculiar about me because I was this insular person. But that’s just how I am. You learn to be okay with the way you are.” Why does she keep insisting again and again that she doesn’t do things like this? I’ll tell you why. Because she does it and wants to get away with it. She wants to keep her good girl image and still do the things she wants to do. She says she doesn’t get her flash out, but she does. She doesn’t carry designer bags, but she does. She doesn’t go out at night and, guess what, SHE DOES!
