Rafa with couple of fans 😁🎾
Now that’s puuuuurtyyyy cool! 😎😎😎
Here are two things you can copy from @mraonic
that’ll help you when going forward to the net: • • 1. Have a perfect ready position. When players have a ready position like Milos is displaying here they often say it feels “like s exaggeration”. That’s a good thing. Keep the racket far out in front, elbows out away from the body, and hitting hand below the racket head. This gets you “ready” for your volleys. • • 2. Keep a wide base with your knees flexed. Bent knees and feet wide apart with a great split step will get you balanced and able to adjust properly to the ball.
If you’re struggling with your forehand control, try copying these 3 attributes of @venuswilliams
: • • Early racket preparation. Venus (and Serena) are known for extremely early racket prep that allows them to handle deep and fast shots. Copying this will help you handle your opponent’s strongest shots. • • Keep your non-hitting hand higher than contact height. When your non-hitting hand drops it becomes a counterweight and you’ll struggle turning your hips into the ball. • • Catch the racket in your non-hitting hand higher than head level. This delivers incredible body and racket control and helps you have amazing lift (so you don’t hit the net) and accuracy on your shots.
