Ora sta tornando molto di moda nelle palestre, anche grazie alla sua riproposizione negli allenamenti in stile crossfit. . . È uno dei movimenti che permette di impiegare i carichi maggiori per le spalle e mi sento di consigliarlo a tutti quelli che sono insoddisfatti della grandezza e dello sviluppo delle proprie spalle💪. L'assetto di partenza è fondamentale per una buona riuscita. . . Mantenete i piedi alla larghezza delle spalle, contraete glutei e addominali, adducete le spalle e preparatevi a spingere. Stringete con forza il bilanciere, una presa✊ decisa, come in tutti gli esercizi, permette un miglior reclutamento neuronale. . . Cercate di tenere i gomiti che "guardano" in avanti nella fase iniziale e quando iniziate l'alzata, manteneteli verticalmente al polso, in modo da sfruttare tutta la componente della spinta impressa al bilanciere. . . Non pensate a spingere in avanti, ma verso l'alto🔝. Quando il bilanciere supera il viso, portate il busto leggermente in avanti➡️, in modo da finire l'alzata con le braccia perpendicolari al terreno e con il vostro corpo completamente al di sotto. . . Back in Bali and back on to the sissy squat pad - in a masochistic way I kind of missed these bad boys 😋 - For me this is the most optimal way to utilise this piece of equipment for quad work. . Make sure the pad is positioned so as to support your knees, but not hinder your range of motion. . It’s important to lean back, take the strain on your quads and keep your shoulders behind the line of your hips (not in front). . As you go down get a good stretch on your quads (in the vid I’m demonstrating a 3 second negative which is tough). . On the way up, push your hips through whilst contracting and squeezing your quads (mind muscle focus). . Don’t stand upright at the top of the movement unless you need to rest pause - My last rep on the video is the point at which I then started my rest pauses, adding an additional 4 reps. _____ Tip: If you’re finding an exercise hard, give yourself a realistic target number of reps, for instance 10, and just keep rest pausing (when necessary), until you reach your target number.
