Some heavy-ish lifting as I taper off this week into a deload next week... . Have to say, I surprised myself with some of the stuff I did, especially going off short sleep (awake at 5am, workout at 7pm 😳). . Today was legs/hamstrings/trap/shoulders focus: . Trapbar Deadlift: went ham in this one --> worked upto 365x3x3, then 315x10x2 (which I really didn't think I had in me!!). . Stiff-Leg Trapbar: 185x12x4 sets for the hammies. . Landmine Shoulder press: 55lbs on one end for 11x4 sets. . Arnold Press: 40lbs for 11x4 sets. . Rear Delt Flye: did this as a finisher and worked a total of 100reps with rest pause reps with 15lbs and 10lbs. . Between the Trapbar, Arnold press, and Rear flyes, you get some crazy upper back and trap work with these moves. . I don’t even have words to describe tonight’s sesh. Oh yea... UGLY. I felt like shit and my sets felt and looked like shit.. Especially that 245.. it’s been awhile since I touched 245 so yea.. my knees def caved in 🤦🏻‍♀️ that was a fail 😭 i should’ve stayed with 225 coz I did lots volume before hand. It's been a hella busy day. But I still got my cardio and back and chest workout done. It isn't always easy juggling mom life, kid activities, and a solid workout program. And I don't always succeed, but it can work. Did I get everything done that I wanted to do? No. Did I get all the important things done? Yes.
8 weeks difference. Calories 2000, weight 65kgs, strength ⬆️, personal mentality ✅💯. I’m not bloated and sluggish, I feel better about my self and I have more effort in my self. I think the main thing about training for a lot of people is to look better. For me of course it is too but it’s more mentally for me. We all have our bad days, but most of the time I’m having more bad then good. I recently decided to really have a look at the people I surround my self with and reevaluate a lot of time i was investing. I found since spending more time on the people that care for me and are there for me as much I am then I have really had a massive weight lifted off my shoulders. Gym and good food along with a good mental health has really just made such a difference in me ! 🌻✨🙌🏼 here’s to happier days

Yayyyy! I didn’t miss #Throwbackthursday 😂 . . From my very first time on stage in June of 2017 to my last time on stage (I know not a stage shot 🙄) in July of this year. . People often ask me “What was it like your first time on stage?” Can you tell what it was like from looking at my face? 😂 . So this is my answer: I don’t remember. Literally...I blacked out. I was so nervous I didn’t even know what was going on. I had barely practiced posing, my routine, even smiling! My entire body started to shake, but I held it together. I must have done ok because I ended up taking home two overalls this night! . So my advice. Practice, practice, practice!! Posing, walking, SMILING! Practice it all. You will thank me later. Practice in front of people, in the gym, at home, wherever. Practice! . The one good thing is the judges know you are going to be nervous. You’re an amateur competitor who is stepping on stage half naked, they get it I promise. Just practice, have fun up there and enjoy the moment so you can actually remember it 🤪 . . .

P.s. the hardest part about my workouts are changing from my drenched spin class leggings to new leggings 😅 the struggle is so real in the locker room 😂

Oh how I have MISSED lifting in a non-commercial gym! I prefer lifting in warehouse/“box” gyms so much more... something about the lack of AC, lack of ridiculously bright lights and lack of mirrors makes it feel more genuine. From my experience, you’re less likely to encounter gym bros in nipple tanks and chicks in matching crop + legging sets in environments like this. Feels more serious, like we’re all here to get shit done and lift heavy, vs here to stare at ourselves in the mirror to ensure our butts are growing at a steady rate. ⠀ ⠀ Side note: This is set 3 of 6x1 at 240 lbs! My last #deadlift PR was 237, and today I did SIX at 240!! Perrrrhapppps 300 lbs isn’t so far away? 😬🙏🏼 Now if only my #squat can catch up...
Progress pic Sooo many things went into this pic and my abs being wayyy more visable today. First of all lots of carbs (😂😂😂)feeds glycogen to the muscle tissue and fills it up. I definitely did not drink enough water today though! Let me explain why this equal abs... Carbohydrate =hydrate=water retention in cells..hence 1 of the reasons why people cut carbs and see quick water loss..no carbo(hydrates )no water retention..some athletes manipulate water by using depleting tatics for competitions..but I did not do this on purpose today..next factor =lighting....lighting is everrrryyything when it comes to showing muscle hence the darker spraytans on bodybuilding competitions. They want to show every muscle they worked so hard to define💓 Im down 5lbs from last week🤗👍.., now its time to bring in the big guns ..on my next post I will go into detail on my supplement regimen 💪
