NEW 💟 Salma Hayek shows her support for Latina Equal Pay Day with her Phenomenally Latina tee as she heads through LAX. (November 3, 2018) She's always been a strong supporter of women's rights and Salma Hayek proved on trend as she was spotted rocking a Phenomenally Latina tee heading through Los Angeles airport on Friday. The shirt is part of the Phenomenal Woman Action Campaign, which supports and helps raise funds for a variety of women’s rights organizations. Salma was joined by other Hollywood’s Hispanic stars including Eva Longoria and Jessica Alba who took to social media to reveal their support Latina Equal Pay Day. The posts included factions about pay disparity among the Latina community and the purpose of the t-shirt. According to Leanin.org, Latinas living in the United States on average make 47 percent less than white men and 31 percent less than white women. The shirt takes its name from the famous Maya Angelou poem Phenomenal Woman. In 2015, The Frida star told The Guardian why she is an ardent supporter of women. 'I am a feminist because I love women and I am ready to fight for women, I am a feminist because I am proud to be a woman, and I am passionate about making the world a better place for women. I am a feminist because a lot of amazing women have made me the woman I am today. I am inspired by women every day, as friends and as colleagues,' she added. • • • ©️ to the respective owner. • • • ᖴoᖇ ᗰoᖇe ᖴoᒪᒪoᗯ
