“Dicaprio 2” J.I.D 🔥 📀 . best tracks; slick talk, westbrook, off deez, 151 rum, offdazoinkys, skrawberries, hot box, mounted up, despacito too 🗑 . worst tracks; workin out, tiiiiiiiiiiiied 8.5/10 • 2018 x this album was fucking fire. it’s everything i could’ve asked for from JID when it comes to just lyrical music that slaps. as jid has already said, it is not his good kid maad city. he is quite conscious of the fact that this album does not include any hidden messages, wild conceptual tracks, or overarching statements about society, however for what the album intended to do, it did amazingly. FAVORITE TRACK: offdazoinkys. It’s just fucking beautiful, and the way it progresses as the song goes on is just incredible. Westbrook is a close second. x tags:

“The Never Story” J.I.D 🤯 📀 . best tracks; general, never, ed edd n eddy, d/vision, all bad, somebody, lauder 🗑 . worst tracks; 8701, underwear 6.5/10 • 2017 x JID’s first studio album solidifies his talent in the rap game, proving him to be the next big thing. while already relatively old (27) considering the typical age of artists early in their careers, jid enters the game with a refreshing sound. his masterful flow seems to weave in and out of the beats flawlessly and effortlessly, reflecting his true passion for good hip hop music. this being said, do feel that this album lagged a little bit in its later tracks. this is something jid cleans up in his following project, dicaprio 2. not only that, I struggle to find a track that truly leaves lasting impact upon me, or a track that slaps hard enough to be memorable, however I cannot seem to find it. although jid displays his talent in grand fashion, in the end, i believe he can do better. and he does on dicaprio 2. he fucking does. x tags:

Armand Hammer - Paraffin; Elucid’s and Woods’ uncanny bond, accompanied by their grimy, unorthodox lyrics and dissonant deliverery perfectly compliments the eerie, hypnotic beats; to create an incredible Abstract Hip-Hop album. Favourite Tracks: - Sweet Mickey - Black Garlic Rating 9/10 - 09. Ka - Honor Killed the Samurai; Brownsville rapper Ka’s Gritty, coarse delivery and Incredible lyricism shines greatly in this project, to create an astounding, ambient, Abstract Hip-Hop album. Favourite Tracks: - Conflicted - $ Rating: 9.1/10 - 08. Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata; MC Freddie Gibbs is in his prime on this record, his thought-provoking lyrics and catchy flow sounds perfect over Madlib’s prolific, soulful and jazzy production. This project is is one of the best Gangster Rap albums of all time. Favourite Tracks: - Deeper - High Rating: 9.3/10 - 07. Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d. city; GKMC cements Kendrick at the top of the rap game. K Dot’s provocative, conscious lyrics are executed perfectly with his captivating flows. Favourite Tracks: - SAMIDOT - Backseat Freestyle Rating: 9.3/10 - 06. Big K.R.I.T - 4eva is a Mighty Long Time; This double LP supplies the listener with two sounds that contrast perfectly; the first disc displays his signature southern Hip-Hop sound, whilst the 2nd disc portrays a soulful sound, with more personal lyrics. K.R.I.T’s rapping ability and production is breathtaking at times on this record; 4EIAMLT, in my opinion is the greatest 2 Disc LP of all time.
