Today I would be going to one of my favorite countries in the world, Bulgaria, to serve at the largest special needs orphanage in the country. Instead, I served at church in the nursery taking care of the little ones in my own community. It’s been the first time I’ve served in this type of setting coming out of full time missions, which has almost been two years. Healing and rest and getting over fears has taken some time. God is strategic, ya know? His ways are always higher. I know deep down in my heart that the truth and hope I hold onto is always for me and not against me. He’s a mysterious and glorious God, y’all. A lot of shifting and learning is taking place. Walking in obedience is sometimes confusing but always worth it. Today was full of some of my greatest treasures and I’m going to sleep with my love tank so full I could explode. I’m so thankful for my people who have walked beside me in this journey. Have a wonderful week, sweet ones. Praying you encounter the peace that transcends all understanding. #ivy#nashville#worthit#rest#onedayatatime#church#happysunday
Had a long day today schooling and holding horses for an IEA show. I ended up schooling 7 horses instead of 2 😅 but it all worked out and the show went smoothly! It was pretty cold out but it was manageable. Another IEA show next weekend.
