Here are our Top 5 Candidates for 6th Man of the Year for the 2018-2019 Season! Obviously this is very early and really just a prediction, but is there anything you would change? —————————————————— Honorable Mentions: (Based off this season) Kelly Oubre Jr, Dennis Schroder. (Who could turn things around) Tyreke Evans, Terry Rozier, Eric Gordon. —————————————————— Explanation: 1. Randle is an above average PF, probably top ten, and is averaging 16.7 points and 7.9 rebounds. 2. Derrick Rose has been really nice off the bench for the Wolves so far, averaging 18.8 points and 5 assists per game, but he is only averaging 14.4 points when he comes off the bench, and he could take on a starting role eventually. For now, he takes the #2
spot. 3. Lou Williams is averaging 16.7 points, and is more or less the perfect scoring six man, but his numbers aren’t nearly as good as last year so far. 4. Spencer Dinwiddie arguably should start for the Nets, and he’s averaging 14.9 points on 48.9% from the field and 43.5% from 3. Definitely has a shot at 6MOTY, and is getting a good amount of recognition after his improvement last season. 5. Domantas Sabonis is a big time sleeper for 6MOTY. He’s currently averaging 14.4 points on 70.7% from the field, along with 9.6 rebounds. ————————————————— Any snubs?
