Tried HAGGIS for the first time while in Edinburgh 🏴 | Swipe to watch me try haggis for the first time and my reaction 😁 - note: Haggis is made from sheep liver, heart, lungs mixed and minced with beef, oatmeal, onions and seasoning. This is all packed into the stomach of a sheep and boiled. Ever tried haggis? Or would you try haggis? - #haggis #haggisneepsandtatties #haggismunchers
We had a blast at the first HLW #burnsnight
- cooking haggis, tasting whiskey and hosting our wonderful guests in the flexible event space in our London office. Thank you to all who came, we had lots of fun from the bashing of the neeps to having our minds open to the joy of irn bru (surprisingly delicious)! #dreamoffice #scottishsurprises #haggisneepsandtatties
On Burns Night we sold out of our Haggis dish during lunchtime! So we got more in, and it's still really popular in this cold weather! #haggisneepsandtatties #warming
I was very pleased how the tartan patterns turned out during my Friday pre school art class, for Burns Night. A weekend celebrating Robert Burns and my other half’s Scottish Heritage, yummy haggis neeps and tatties!
Haggis, neeps and tatties at Saturdays Burns Evening
Tonight's The Night.. Happy Burns Day!! Apparently A poll found almost half of youngsters don’t know a word of the Bard’s classic — and some even reckon it was written by US pop star Mariah Carey. An astonishing 56 per cent of 18 to 24-year-olds quizzed had no idea who wrote Auld Lang Syne while only seven per cent of Scots were able to recite the full lyrics. The annual events began shortly after the poet's death in July, 1796 when his friends celebrated his life and career. The date of the celebrations was later moved to his birth January 25, 1759 and it is now the day people everywhere celebrate the life and works of Scotland's national poet. (Yes , I know this is Rod but he's kind of like the modern day Rab and he looks cool as fuck here) #burnssupper #robertburns #scotland #per #haggisneepsandtatties #irnbru #rodstewart #tartan #itsshitebeingscottish
