Inspired by a few of my friends, today begins #100daysforpositivechange
. I've been in a health rut lately and I needed something to snap me out of it. What better way than a 3+month long challenge that takes me right up to the end of tax season? Go big or go home, right? 🤷 💜 For me, this challenge is less physical and more mental. Being the boss of my own brain has always been hard for me. A natural overthinker, it's easy for me to succumb to whatever thoughts are spiraling around in my dome. This can lead to bad habits, self-medication, negativity, and sometimes depression. After 2 weeks of illness, I feel deflated, beaten. Frankly, I'm tired of it. No more wasted days. No more self doubt. No more diminishing my strength because it makes people uncomfortable. Over these next 100 days, I'm going to do 3 things every single day: 1) journal my intentions and tasks 2) meditate for at least 10 minutes 3) exercise for 30 minutes . 💜 . I'm making a promise to myself that during this holiday and winter season I will put myself and my health first. It's so easy to let the cold, dark winter days slip away and I refuse to fall into that trap. So, here we go! I'll be posting daily updates in my story @stephbee23.
