Zero exercise🙅🏻‍♀️, desk job, triple cheese macaroni on the regular😋. Fast food was not a splurge because it was routine🍕🌮🍟🍔. This was me surviving off red bulls and wine. . Me on the right was this summer. 3-4 days a week in the gym, eating better (notice how I said “better” as opposed “eating right”) I was in the process of fixing my metabolism and being conscientious of what I was putting into my body. I still enjoy cinnamon rolls, doughnuts, burgers and bacon—but I know how to enjoy my favorites without becoming a setback to my progress 😁 I don’t sweat for hours on the elliptical nor do I run on the tread mill or do HIIT. . OKKK sweatiest leg day i’ve had in awhile!!! hit a new max for reps on squats (never tested my 1RM before but i’m curious so if anyone wants to help me test mine lmk 🙃) and we are FEEEELING GOOD! I was actually dripping sweat by the end of this and the endorphin rush was so real but it was great and i’m READY TO GO today if you can’t tell by this over excited caption 🤪 anyway SWIPE for vids, SAVE it and try it for yourself 😊 - 1. back squats 2x12, 2x8, 1x6, 1x3, 1x8 (increase weight as reps decrease! video is one of the sets of 8) 2. heel elevated goblet squat 4x10 ↳ SS dumbbell RDL 4x12 3. kettlebell step up 3x8 each leg ↳ SS kettlebell swings 3x12 (form isn’t 100% as I never do these but i’m working on it 😊) 4. cable squats 4x10 5. feet elevated banded glute bridge 4x20 - dis short workout will have your legs actually dying in under an hour so good luck lmao happy thursday tho folks! this week has been a whirlwind and I can’t believe it’s already almost friday but that’s ok 🙌 really embracing the productivity, cold days, and early morning lifts that make up these hurried weeks. been doing a lot of reflecting lately and have noticed that I feel the most growth and the most pride during times like this which I feel most people can relate to in some way. my phone background says “work fucking harder” for a reason 🤗 anyway this is a jumble of thoughts but that’s just my brain sometimes - hope you’re all having a wonderful day so far and happy almost weekend 💕

Too soon for a #throwbackthursday ? 💁‍♀️ I'm missing the beach and hot weather but I'm back to work this week and back to business! 🤓 I think we all need time away from work life to recharge and this can also be the case for fitness and taking a break from your workouts. If you've been lacking motivation or bored of the same gym routine there's a number of things you can do that will help. 1️⃣ Take a break all together. A week off from training is not going to mean you lose all your hard work. 2️⃣ Try something different. Always train in the gym? Go for a run outside, go swimming or try a new class. You know your life isn’t together when you’ve over 270 unread emails, 140 WhatsApp messages, 30 Facebook messages (I get anxiety over those red circles trust me) & I’ve yet to hire my graduation gown for in just 3 weeks🙀 . I like my life to be organized so when I feel stressed/exhausted/unmotivated...I get so overwhelmed & want every task done instantly but can’t focus at all! . I’m setting myself some mini goals to apply to my own life right now to minimise stress & you can use them too if you feel overwhelmed/stressed/anxious! ✨ Don’t expect too much of yourself ✨ Identify what issues are causing the stress ✨ Prioritise the most important tasks ✨ Take time out ✨ Eat well for good brain power/energy ✨ Take one task at a time ✨ Exercise for the mental health benefits ✨ Prioritise SLEEP as this will help you on so many levels!!!

T H R U S T T H U R S D A Y 🍑 I used to do hip thrusts all the time, at least twice a week. But now I’m lucky if I do them once every other week! Only because my focus has been on other moves and improving other areas. So I was quite pleased that I managed to get 100kg for 8 reps 😁 then got 110kg for 6 reps 🙌🏻 Happy bunny! Does anyone else struggle to get in and out from under the bar like me😂 #thursdaytip when doing hip thrusts make sure you are pushing through your heels to feel the burn in your glutes. ALSO!! When I was in the gym today, there were at least 4 other girls doing weights which I was buzzing about 💗 amazing that girls are finally getting away from that stigma of ‘lifting weights makes you manly’.
