The Chaos Protocol | The Chaos Manual (2004) - I see a lot of people using the protocols from the manual I wrote back in 2004, called the Chaos Manual. I attempted to detail and provide greater understanding with how we, as strength coaches and fitness professionals, could gain ground in developing capacities to bridge the gap between GPP to SPP. These 5 exercises are just a very small sample from the 600+ page Chaos Manual. - It is true that everything that happens OFF the field of play is GPP (General Physical Preparedness) and the only thing truly 'functional' are the skills, experience, and random multi-planar expressions of strength, power, and speed developed in practice and during game time. But, there does exist a potential "bridge" of multi-faceted strength, power, and speed capacities that can be developed that could potentially enhancement an athlete's abilities and complement the potential performance - outside of the standard strength training protocols. This is what I attempted in the Chaos Manual. - Over the years, I integrated Chaos protocols into our ( @defrancosgym ) Extreme DVD and then took the techniques and protocols to another level in the Special Strength System.
