Se neste caso específico se reduzisse a carga e houvesse maior foco em recrutar o músculo alvo, é óbvio que a carga a utilizar tende a baixar significativamente. . 🔌💪Uma situação onde se torna essencial dar foco à conexão mente músculo é nos exercícios monoarticulares (por exemplo, bícep curl e lateral raise), pois como o objetivo é recrutar o músculo alvo da melhor forma possível, é crucial utilizar uma carga que permita uma boa conexão e excelente forma de execução no intuito de potenciar ativação muscular. Este tem sido um tema apoiado pela literatura recente, favorecendo a conexão mente músculo nesse tipo de exercícios (dar ênfase ao foco interno/pensar no músculo a contrair). . ↪️Tendo isto em conta, é possível que carga ao longo da carreira de treino possa diminuir, caso otimização da técnica seja algo prioritário no treino. É por esta razão que por vezes olhar apenas para números é um pouco simplista, pois neste contexto um bícep curl feito com 35 kg pode gerar melhores resultados que um de 55 kg. 🔑Melhor técnica igual a melhor qualidade de estímulo e, consequentemente, maior ativação muscular e menor risco de lesão. . ✔️💯Para finalizar quero realçar o seguinte, não estou a dizer que aumentar a carga não é importante, pois é essencial ao longo da carreira de treino, no sentido de gerar adaptações desejadas. Por outras palavras, não vale de muito ter excelente conexão mente músculo, caso não exista progressão da tensão ao longo do tempo. Porém, quando se trata de avaliar o trabalho realizado é importante verificar a qualidade da ativação muscular, sendo a par de fatores externos (carga, reps, séries) também uma forma de progressão no treino.
