We attended an event tonight that was a bit out of our control. We got two drink tickets each, a delicious wedge salad (I devoured), bread—yes, I ate the bread because I had put one of those beverage tickets to use & needed to remember I hadn’t had alcohol since mid October, and then this amazing plate—-Unless you haven’t had animal proteins since mid October either. Well, let’s just say I took anyone’s Brussel sprouts who would give them to be and left the rest. Couldn’t do it. But the dessert, it was this red velvet cherry something delicious-ness. I ate that without hesitation. It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t 100% on our plan but we did the best we could. I’ve got some amazing results so far & cant wait to share. In a perfect world, we would have asked for vegetarian plates but it’s fine! We had a great time & met some fascinating people who helped donate money to my husband’s police department for the real time crime unit that he’s running. We are super appreciative of their donations & to be the recipients.
It's true when they say nothing beats southern fried chicken 🍗💯💯
When work is so busy you don’t eat all day and then get drunk off the first drink #lessonlearned
This is the ever tasty brussel sprout. This plant is 100% real! Isn't it crazy? Dr. Seus must have gotten some inspiration from it. Despite its stellar look, it is still a nutritional powerhouse. Raw, in salads stir-fried, baked, roasted, steamed, and other methods of cooking make it incredibly versatile for an equal hit of vitamins and minerals. Ladies and gentleman, I give you, the brussel sprout. #brusselsprouts #vegan #cabbage #diet #nutrition #plantpower
