It’s not pretty, but this Chili sure does taste AMAZING....anyone else noticing a trend lately with our meals being yummy but not visually appealing?!? Lol ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We tried out a new chili recipe that came in the recipe book of the program we started today, and even though I’m not a HUGE fan of beef, this one will definitely be a keeper! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1.5 lbs. raw extra-lean beef, cut into bite sized pieces 1 medium onion, chopped 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes, no salt added 1/4 cup tomato paste, no sugar added 2 Tbsp. chili powder 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans (we used garbanzo instead) Cook beef on stove until browned. Add all ingredients, besides beans, into crockpot and cook on high for 3 hours. Add beans, cook for additional 1-1/5 hours, or until beef is tender.
