Monday morning motivation. When I started my weight loss journey four and s half 年前發佈, it wasn’t to “look good”. It was to be healthy. Physically, mentally and emotionally healthy. I did not want to be restricted. I did not want to miss out living life or feeling guilty over food. I simply wanted to live the best, healthiest life I could. I realized some time into my journey, that you are who you surround yourself with. I hD go cut ties with some simply because I did not want to go down a destructive path. I belive the reason I have been able to maintain a healthy lifestyle and a physique I’m happy with is because of what I’ve learned and those I have learned from. Weight loss can be a struggle but it is do able. Keeping the weight off in a healthy manner is something no one talks about and very few teach. If you’re embarking on a #weightlossjourney
or just simply a healthier lifestyle in 2019, here are a few things to consider; - don’t “diet” it’s a lifestyle not a diet -if you suddenly restrict you’re self from all the foods you like, you will fail - cutting out entire food groups will lead to binging and then feeling bad about yourself. Don’t fall into this trap. - don’t miss out on life just to weight a few pounds less - watch who you learn from/follow on social media (if someone works out 3 hours a day , do you have that same amount of time? It’s ok to not workout 3 hours a day. You can reach your goal in a healthier way) - If you’re really stuck, get a GOOD, knowledgeable coach. I always say that you can’t learn from people who haven’t been where you’re going. Make sure you do your home work. Get referrals, etc. - You do have yo “watch” what you eat but you don’t have to stop living life and you definitely don’t have to be miserable. - You are who you surround yourself with so watch who you’re around. -It’s you vs you. The minute you start “competing” with someone else will be the minute you will start to be miserable. I’m think that the reason people who do 90 day challenges or programs like the biggest loser fail, is because they put too much focus on what everyone else is doing. Do you. - Don’t hate, collaborate. Simple. Just ask.
