Inspiring the next generation of dentists! It was wonderful to see an outpouring of D1-D4 students at Rutgers University this afternoon. Dr. Nicole presented to approximately 50 future dentists, discussing their role in public health and the different nonprofit vehicles which can deliver community oral health services. All are welcome to experience working in a nonprofit dental home by volunteering with our Community Service Learning Program!

I did my first anesthesia injection!!! This was one of the most exciting yet SCARY moments of dental school so far. My hands were shaking so much during the first injection that my instructor had to hold my hand and guide it into the tissue... as soon as he let go, I freaked out and pulled out the needle🤦🏻♀️ But a couple more injections after, I barely felt nervous at all. Practice makes perfect and at least I’ll remember this moment forever 😅😂 Thanks for being an amazing and supporting patient

Sorry I’ve not been on insta AT ALL this weekend 😞 its so easy for things to get in the way and so hard to make time for everything!! Been super busy but what can you do 😝 Same as the other day - fried chicken, with spring onions, and frozen peppers and frozen green beans. Defrosted the green beans in the microwave a little, then fried everything together with chilli flakes, coriander, and some cajun. I love putting random spices into my meals to see what can be created, but this was really nice.. but I’m biased as I ❤️ spice and ❤️ coriander 😂 as per, you can put any veg and spices in, as long as you end up full afterwards! I love this meal as its so so quick, and it can be changed in any way i.e. meat, veg, and spices :) As a side note, I usually shop at Asda but popped to lidl this weekend and will be buying my meat there from now on!! 1kg of frozen chicken breasts for approx £3.20 and 1kg of 5% fat mince for approx £3.50 (when its usually almost £7 in asda!!!!)
