THE MOST IMPORTANT TIP ABOUT PREPPING YOUR FOOD // I’ve been talking a lot this week about how to make cooking a sustainable, life-long practice. To be honest, I believe that if you’re going to learn ONE thing about how to improve your health, it should include how to cook simply. 👩🏽‍🍳 . I know many people get overwhelmed by recipes, too. And that’s cool! You know why? Cause you don’t need recipes. 🤯 . For real, you don’t. When preparing your food for the week, just pick ingredients you love...and then cook them. Roast them, steam them, sauté them, braise them, chop them to be eaten raw, whatever. Just make some ingredients! 🥗 . Then, add 2-3 sauces on rotation for your week, and that’s literally it. Compile meals of protein, healthy fat, veggies, and some starch...then add your sauce. Done. ✨ . Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good, especially when we’re on our journey to better health. It doesn’t have to be complicated. This is what my food looks like 95% of the time, and I couldn’t be happier eating it. 💕
