Sugar Craving? Homemade Strawberry Marmalade : Slice 5 strawberries thinly, cover them on low heat for 5-10 mins. ***note: the longer it cooks the more it loses its nutritional value*** . If strawberries were not sweet you can add a couple of Stevia drops (I use Stevia with vanilla flavor to avoid the bitter aftertaste)😎👌🏽. What is a GOOD BREAKFAST for you? I try to respect the principle of “breakfast is the most important meal of the day”. But if I eat anything other than drinking a smoothie, my body shuts me down shortly after (during the digestion process) and I just feel like going back to bed 🤪☝🏽😂. ⚠️ Attention ⚠️ If you have Hypothyroidism like me, DO NOT eat much soy products like Edamame, Chickpeas or Tofu. I found out the hard way 😬that it messes up with your TSH levels (Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone). Mine was off the charts 😱 because for few months I became obsessed eating Edamame 🙈. 3 months after I stopped eating it , the levels went back to normal. A cup of Edamame has the protein amount of a piece of steak 🥩 👌🏽 so I had made it my daily meat replacement 😅. Turns out , we should not have more than one cup per week. Same with chickpeas (hummus). After my last post about my thyroid issues I realized how many people are in the same boat 🚣🏼‍♀️ . I used to complain about having to go grocery shopping 🛒. Like, for real , who has the time for grocery shopping when you are a single mom, self employed entrepreneur and on top of that you have to stay in shape so you can continue having a fitness career 🙄☝🏽? Until one day, about 5 年前發佈, I decided to write down what being the BEST MOM meant to me🤔✍🏼. One of the main points on my list was being able to control my son’s ADHD with food intake to avoid having to medicate him🥑💊. Then I had to write down what it takes for me to be able to keep his ADHD under control: ✅Have to prepare all meals at home ✅Have to avoid processed food ✅Have to buy food at special places to avoid pesticides ✅Have to come up with fun ideas for his lunchbox ✅Have to have healthy snacks available at home at all times ... and THEN it HIT ME 🔨💥😱!... Without grocery shopping, I would NEVER be able to be the BEST MOM😳! Don’t get me wrong , it is NOT that I now enjoy it 😅, BUT this simple activity 🛒 gives me one of my most desired feelings in the world 🌎 ☝🏽: the feeling of knowing that I am giving my 200% at this mom job 🏆🥇🤗🙌🏽! P.s. if I didn’t have Nick, I would probably just drink shakes all day 🙈. Who has the time for cooking 😫? ...
